About Cornwall MTB
The Club is located around the Central/Truro area in Cornwall and we love Mountain Biking. We ride at various locations throughout the county and the routes are set by a different group member each week. We usually meet on a Sunday (occasionally a Saturday) and the upcoming rides are always listed here our site.
Each ride is graded between 1 and 5 and many of the rides are suitable for all abilities. However, please bear in mind that each ride is likely to have some variety, and the difficulty level can be subjective. Here’s a general guide to help you decide if a ride is suitable or not:
- 1 - Smooth and flatish
- 2 - General bridleways
- 3 - Trail riding, with occasional steep, rocky or rooty sections
- 4 - More technical trail riding with plenty of steep, rocky or rooty sections
- 5 - Relentless steep downhills or general exposed technical riding
Meet the Crew
To keep the Club running smoothly week in, week out, we have dedicated bunch of guys that organise and lead rides, recce routes, admin the Club and impart their infinite wisdom to anyone that’ll listen. All the Ride Leaders are MIAS Mountain Bike Leader certified so you’re in good hands.
